The Ham and Cheese blob booby has been one of my most successful fly patterns over the last couple of seasons. It’s extremely effective when fished quickly for recently stocked fish on reservoirs, as well as when fished slow on a midge tip and washing line set up. The pink and yellow colour combination seems to be a real winner on most smallwaters across the U.K for rainbow trout.
