Luboš Roza's Pink Tag Euro Nymph is one of his go-to patterns. While it excels as a grayling pattern in the fall and winter months, don't overlook this fly for trout. Truly, it is one of those flies that will perform on any river, for any species. What makes this euro nymph so effective is its overall dark profile combined with the silver flash of the bead and wire. Then, the hint of pink for the tail really brings it all to life. We especially like this fly in dark conditions, whether that be turbid water or a cloudy, rainy day. It's a fly that Luboš always has in his nymph box, and it quickly became one that we do as well.
