Dougie is from Glasgow, Scotland where he lives with his wife and three children. He has been fishing for over 25 years, starting out fishing for Perch and Roach on a small farm pond before quickly progressing onto fly fishing for Trout on Lochs and small stillwaters.
His targets these days are river Brown Trout and Grayling but his main passion is for Pike on the fly from both boat and float tube. As such Fulling Mill have been working with Dougie for several years producing some of the best-selling commercial predator patterns available. Dougie is a regular at Fly fishing shows with regular invites to demonstrate tying Pike flies at Fairs and Clubs across Britain and Europe.
