This pattern features our Bug Foam for the butt, our Ultra Dry yarn for the wing and post, and deer hair. This gives it lots of excellent floating properties that not only help it float for a long time without needing to be retreated, but also allow it to suspend a lot of weight if you're running a nymph or two below it. Plus, it has a super buggy profile so it gets eaten a lot as a caddis dry, too. This version is tied with a dark brown body, but you can substitute the dubbing for any color that matches the caddis on your local rivers.
