Alex has been immersed in fly fishing and fly tying from an early age, influenced by his father Charles, whose career has been built around trout and grayling. Since travelling New Zealand with little more than a backpack and a fly rod in 2008, Alex has continued to seek adventure at home and abroad, fishing both freshwater and saltwater on six of the world’s seven continents.
Today, Alex shares this experience through teaching at home and leading hosted international trips as part of the team at
Aardvark McLeod.
