Tim James is a London-based angler who has been fly fishing for over fourteen years.
His journey began with a love of urban fly fishing — exploring unexpected spots throughout the capital and catching a remarkable variety of species, from carp, barbel, and chub to bass and thin-lipped mullet — all within the city’s boundaries.
In recent years, Tim has shifted his focus to the world of competitive fly fishing, travelling across the UK to fish rivers and refine his skills.
This new chapter has seen him master the art of targeting trout and grayling at a high level, combining his urban roots with a growing reputation on the national circuit.
