Stevie Dallas's fishing journey began 34 years ago as an eight-year-old boy, casting a handmade rod crafted by his father. What started as a childhood hobby quickly became a lifelong obsession with the mental puzzle of the chase — one he funded as a kid by running a weekend breakfast delivery round and washing cars.
Today, river fishing for wild brown trout and grayling is his ultimate passion. Over more than three decades, Stevie has fly-fished across Scotland, England, Wales, Sweden, and the iconic Rocky Mountains of Colorado — including the famous Elevenmile Canyon.
A dedicated fly tyer, Stevie crafts his own patterns for everything from trout to pike. He has had the privilege of representing clubs, including Bangour Fly Fishing Club and Ayr Travellers, and is fortunate to be sponsored by top-tier companies to promote their fly fishing and tying equipment. His next and most exciting venture is passing the tradition down to his fifteen-year-old son and ten-year-old daughter, building a new generation of family memories out on the water.
