Specialty: Trout, Grayling and Salmon
Phil has been Fly fishing for more than forty years, his passion lies in fishing the rivers for Grayling, Trout and Salmon. However, Phil can turn his Fly Fishing knowledge and skills to many aspects of the sport including Carp and Pike on the fly. Phil is also fascinated by saltwater adventures both here in the UK and further afield.
Currently based in Cheshire, Phil is one of a new breed of up and coming instructors. He holds the APGAI (Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructor) qualifications in both single and double handed disciplines. His international pedigree is also second to none, as he is qualified with Fly Fishers International (FFI) and holds both the Masters (MCI) and the two-handed Masters (THMCI) qualification.
All of this and his dedication to the sport over the years has culminated in Phil being endorsed by the leading tackle brands within the Industry. He represents Sage, Rio and Redington as an International Pro guide.
Phils many years of personal experience on the water with the fly rod coupled with his qualifications are why we at Fulling Mill are pleased to have him on board as one of our ambassadors.
