CK Flies was born from a long family heritage and lifelong obsession with fly fishing on the salmon rivers of the world. Charlie’s tying journey started early — at just six years old. Surrounded by exceptional fly tiers and anglers, he learned not only the basics of tying fish-catching flies but also the art of fly fishing itself.
Following in the footsteps of his father, Peter Keyser — remembered as an exceptional fly fisherman — Charlie has taken this generational skill around the world, guiding and fishing in Scotland, England, Iceland, Russia, and New Zealand.
The CK Flies brand has grown beyond a simple fly-tying business. It now includes traditional Spey and Dee-style salmon flies, unique product offerings, and collaborations within the fly-fishing industry. Partnering with Fulling Mill is an honour and a natural fit — both share a commitment to producing the highest-quality salmon flies using the best materials available.
