Andrea Pegorin
Trout, Grayling & Fly Tying
Speciality: All-rounder • Tuscany, Italy
Andrea Pegorin, 46, lives in Tuscany and has a deep, lifelong passion for fly fishing.
He primarily targets trout and grayling in running waters, favouring the elegance and precision of dry fly fishing — though he also enjoys the challenge of pursuing black bass from his belly boat.
A committed catch and release angler, Andrea always approaches the water with respect for the environment and the delicate ecosystems he fishes.
For Andrea, fly tying is a passion within a passion — an essential part of being a fly fisher.
It connects him with entomology and deepens his understanding of the rivers he loves.
Over the years, he has competed in numerous national and international fly-tying championships, achieving important victories and awards.
These events, along with the fly-fishing shows he attends, continue to motivate him to learn, innovate, and connect with anglers worldwide.
Andrea regularly organises fly-tying workshops and contributes to La Pesca Mosca & Spinning, Italy’s historic fly-fishing magazine, where he writes articles on fishing and fly tying.
He also collaborates with several leading brands in the fly-fishing sector as a pro-staff member and is proud to represent Fulling Mill.
A member of the Prato Mosca Club Board of Directors, Andrea helps promote fly fishing through community events, courses, and outreach — sharing his knowledge and passion to inspire the next generation of anglers.
We are delighted to welcome Andrea to the Fulling Mill Pro Team.
