I'm 46 years old, I live in Tuscany and I have a visceral passion for fly fishing…
I mainly fish for trout and grayling in running waters preferring dry fly but I also love to fish the black bass from the belly boat. I totally practice catch & release while always respecting the environment.
For me, tying is a passion within a passion, I consider it an important part for any fly fisherman, it introduces us to entomology and allows us to understand the delicate balance of our beloved rivers.
I have participated at many national and international fly tying championships achieving important victories and awards. These, together with the fly fishing shows, are a stimulus for me to improve myself, to try new products and make new friends.
I organize fly tying workshops and I collaborate with La Pesca Mosca & Spinning, a historic sector magazine, writing fishing and fly tying articles. I collaborate with some important brands in the fly sector as a pro-staff and I’m very proud to be part of the Fulling Mill family.
For some years I have been part of the Board of Directors of the Prato Mosca Club, with which I meet regularly to organize courses and activities aimed at disseminating and promoting fly fishing.
