As a reservoir expert there is no better angler to give you an insight to what flies to try at Grafham water. Many of Rob's fly patterns and ideas can be found throughout the Fulling Mill trout fly range.

- Grafham is much like any other reservoir when it comes to catching early in the season. Large lures and buzzer fished deep is often the way to go.
- The killer shrimp has been a staple part of the fish at Grafham water, when you're nymphing, be sure to use something that replicates them and fish close to the shore in search of shrimp feeders.
- Later in the season many of the fish are within the first couple of week, small crunchers, diawls backs and hoppers can pick out the better fish. Use a co-polymer leader to keep your flies close to the surface.
